About Me

My name is Mrs. Cakin and I will be your teacher for your Reading and Writing Classes this year.I graduated from K-State with a B.S. in Secondary Education with an emphasis in English and Journalism, and a minor in English literature.I taught high school in Leavenworth for two years after college, and realized that I liked teaching younger kids. Since then I've been teaching English at Eisenhower Middle School, and this will be my 6th year.I'm currently going to school to attain my Masters in Education and a Specialty in Online Teaching and Learning. I'm excited to teach you this year and hope that you enjoy class too.This blog will help keep you updated in school and class throughout the year.
